Olegik Posted June 10, 2016 Report Share Posted June 10, 2016 Gordie Howe, recognized as the greatest NHL player who ever lived, died on Friday, the Red Wings announced. Mr. Howe, affectionately known around the world as "Mr. Hockey", was 88. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972, Howe played 25 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings and helped them win four Stanley Cup championships. У жовтні минулого року Боссі повідомив, що лікується від раку легенів. На початку квітня стало відомо, що він отримує паліативну допомогу. Майк Боссі виступав за "Нью-Йорк Айлендерс" з 1977 по 1987 рік. За цей час він набрав 1126 очок у 752 матчах і чотири рази поспіль завойовував Кубок Стенлі. Нападник встановив низку рекордів НХЛ та "Айлендерс". У 1991 році його було включено до Залу хокейної слави в Торонто.
